Robert Anton Wilson has probably written on this. He is certainly into
conspiracy theories in a very big way. Most of his work is fiction,
but he wrote a sort of encyclopedia of conspiracy theories the name
of which currently escapes me. Try web searches on his name, also,
eg, amazon.com You might get some results by asking this question in
alt.fan.rawilson and/or alt.conspiracy
