Strangely, at one point in history (I can't remember exactly when),
this was commonly cited to show how sensible and practical she was
(and I guess by extention, other aristocrats were).
But not only did she never say it, there's apparently very good evidence
that she did not take that attitude at all, being in fact rather
compassionate, and attempting to organise help for those in distress.
Which leaves you looking like something of memetic victim, doesn't
it Wade? :-)
