Yeah, but he's made a mint out of his books, and persists with his Nazca
lines stuff, even though there's been a lot of archaeological evidence to
suggest more earth-bound (and arguably far more interesting) solutions to
what happened there.
He reminds me of Graham Hancock in the UK (one of this ancient global
civilisation nuts- although he does tend to avoid using the term atlantis).
But you're right, being wrong isn't necessarily the same as fraudulent
(otherwise I think I'd be locked up right now).
