Last night while walking through the bookstore I thumbed through Kary
Mullis's book _Dancing Naked in the Mind Field_ and concentrated on the part
of the book where he attacks the view that HIV is the causal factor in AIDS.
Mullis is famous for development of polymerase chain reaction (PCR)
technology. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1993.
There were some threads on talk.origins a while back which centered on
whther HIV was the causal agent in AIDS, but I didn't follow them closely.
Now I realize that these dissident views are capturing a head of steam,
perhaps with the fame of Mullis helping them along...
Does anyone here know enough of the details of Duesberg's and Mullis's
attacks to post a summary? I'm rather new to the topic.
