    But with specialization (or cladogenic "speciation") there needs to be more
    hybridization and unity between the branches. If I'm not mistaken, this is
    akin to a point made by Dobzhansky in the "Foreward" to Mayr's book.

    It's hard to keep a broad background, yet have competence in the various
    fields one has interest in bridging.
