Subject: Less genes than expected
Hi all,
Just heard this on the news.
Two teams of scientist found out that we, humans has less genes than
expected...about two times more than a worm.
They also said that human behavior is far more determinated by its environ-
ment than by its genes.
Our behaviour is most likely determinated by complex biological processes
within the cell.
Important are the proteins, but what struck me most was their finding that an important role in making up our behavior was the info which came from the
external world...for example the spokeswoman talks about bacteria which should
carry ' genes ' from one person to the other...if I understood her correctly.
*PAGING DR. BUCKAROO BANZAI...
Tomorrow, thus 12 Februrary, they will present their rapport to the world...
Either way, something to dive in...
Best,
Kenneth
( I am, because we are)
