Hi, Diane,
You're absolutely right, of course. Several of us do tend to get rather
piqued on occasion, but I assure you it's not typical, and actually is
usually about subjects at best only tenuously related to memetics.
Sometimes the tone stems from the repetition of arguments that people who've
been on the list for a while get irritated about people raising again.
Perhaps, if more people contributed, it wouldn't be the same old people
getting mardy with each other.
