    Well!

    We are all becoming rather acerbic aren't we?

    First, there's Robin, for making the all too common remark about Western
    philosophy. There's nothing worse that a Westerner who puts eastern
    philosophy on a pedestal, without ever asking basic questions about the
    social systems in which those philosophies emerged, which are just as flawed
    as any in the West, in some ways moreso (especially if you're female).

    Then there's Wade, with his crack about 'human' and 'academic'.

    Where's all this anti-intellectual, anti-Western sentiment suddenly sprung
    from?
