    Hi Ray Recchia --

    >I have been reading a book on animal cognition by Marc Hauser of Harvard
    >called 'Wild Minds' that I think is pretty good.

To my utter satisfaction, I had the opportunity to attend a short
speaking engagement with Marc Hauser when this book was first published.
(Stephen Pinker was also in the audience...;-)) Hauser's presentation was
just as cogent as his writing, and, above all, I was impressed with his
deep admiration and love for animals.

I also recommend this book, for all readers.
