Mysticism has no direct benefits in any of those areas -- though it
indirectly benefits most or all of them.

This may seem basic to you, but you're already confusing two different
things: the means by which it works, and its benefits.
However, the direct benefit of meditation and related practices is to
psychological wellbeing, as you yourself suggested in that message from
the other side of your brain.
