    Did you consider the alternative, naturalistic explanation that you had simply discovered the benefit of conscious, purposeful living? Having confidence and clarity about direction in life yields remarkable results. I think for many, belief in God is an effective way to get this confidence and clarity (as well as some very valuable peer support), but no actual God is necessary to produce the results.
