    Looking back over the memetics list archive, I couldn't help noticing this post by some greenhorn who could have easily kicked my butt in what he was bringing to the table back then:

    Notice the question on Lashley's reduplication. Definitely gotta re-check some of this guys references. Notice the date, making this post well before Aunger's book.

    Man I'm sensing a discontinuity of self here, since it amazing how much more I knew in some respects then, yet how much more in other respects now. Drat!!!! Maybe I'm suffering a benign user illusion, though some memories do overlap quite well.
