Doesn't Donald Hebb fit into the picture here
somewhere? My synapses haven't fired on the concepts
of the cell assembly or Hebbian synapse for many
moons, but it seems there might be some overlap.
Note to "self": must re-read _The Organization of
Behavior_ sometime.
