On Monday night's Channel 4 News, Iain Davidson MP, of
the "Labour Against the Euro" group said that "a
tipping point" had been reached in the European
Constitution debate. Later in the same program, but a
separate (recorded) interview, Keith Vaz MP, former
Europe Minister, said that calls for a referendum had
now "infected the whole debate about Europe". Jon
Snow, the main presenter, was the first to use the
phrase "tipping point" on Channel 4 News in October of
last year. (see http://cfpm.org/~majordom/memetics/2000/16138.html)
