it's not usenet. it's a moderated academic list, with an academic purpose that
should be respected.
I don't agree that the decision represents censorship. The posts in question
will be available. they are metaphorically being put at the top of the
magazine rack wrapped in plastic.

I follow usenet groups for this: soc.culture.usa, soc.culture.israel,
soc.culture.palestine, alt.politics.british, uk.politics.misc, and
uk.current-events.terrorism - are good sources of data.
Expect something else from this list: its academic purpose presupposes a
certain professional distance from the "field".
The moderator decided, it's a good decision. other decisions may have been
acceptable, but alternatives would have been better put forward before the
decision was made, as was requested.
