Birds sing like a GSM,
If you hear during a walk in the woods a tune of a GSM, look than right up.
Some song- birds imitate namely faultless the sound of a mobile phone.
Especially the jay is a master in imitating. And because the use of GSM and
of SMS is increasing_ also in the woods_ birds pick- up those sounds.
Also the noisy environment of the city does influence bird song.
Orthinologists did discover, very recently, that great- tits have more
strident sounds than those in the country.
" Otherwise they can 't stand out in the crowd of what are the environ-
mentalnoises ! And males must be audible to chat up females.
Thus they have learned to sing louder ! " ( FrP)
