The environment is always an influence, and evolution is not
possible without an environment, and the memeinthemind denies this.
Wade,
But what if the mind IS the environment !?
I mean, what if the elegant, innate, wonderful psysical workings of
the brain/ mind ( neural connections, synaptic dynamics, etc) is its
own greatest influence !?
That thus, no matter what, the external environment ( cultural/ social
venues) is of less importance than your scheme suggest !?
Wouldn 't this than not mean that culture IS within the mind and thus
individualistic !?
That culture is than nothing more than a result of the working of
an individualistic brain, solipsistic, not holding the memes...those
were to be than the things where with the mind connect itself to
the external to get hold of itself.....!?
We would have to explain for the artifacts that exist, but within
the shema of solipsism that wouldn 't be the hardest egg to crack....
Regards,
Kenneth
