Kenneth has found that using the performance model is a relaxing and
fertile way of moving into and through cultural process.
Birthdays are in interesting example, of course, because it is only
recently that they have become important among the general population,
and accuracy was rarely important except among the ruling classes.
No-one can possibly know their own birthday. This is one bit of data
which _has_ to be related through the culture, if it can and wants to.
