I was going to say five, in the conversation I had with myself as I lay
at night thinking about what you and I have said, and what Joe and I
have said, and what Richard has said, and Keith, even though he does
not look at me when he speaks, and I should distrust him, and what
Vincent has said, and, Kenneth, and William, and Aaron, and Derek. I
think about all of them, all the time.
I'm also happy to wait, to see what shakes out of this memetic zoo
we're in.
And, I'm happy to hear about your father, and the way you speak to him,
and with him. My father and I agree, most of the time, about things,
but, as you know, I like to argue, even if my argument is more about a
perspective and a utility than a fact.
You have engaged me pleasantly and thoughtfully, and I hope I've done
the same with you. I can say the same for almost all of the
correspondents here.
And, we all wait.
It would be nice t'were only three years to go. I'm not getting any
younger....

PS- is it possible to step outside our cultural venues?
