    Dear Memetics List Participants,

I've been following the ongoing debate about what memetics is and how it is relevant to anything else. It is actually quite informative.

I don't really have too much to add to it yet. I do have a question for the list, though.

I have only recently subscribed to this list, and I have recently got ahold of a copy of Robert Aunger's "The Electric Meme".

I have not found many references here to his theory about what "memes" are, and was wondering if anyone had any input on this book/theory?

(please forgive my query if this has already been covered).

    Thank You,

    Sam Rose
