I recall a brief discussion on it a few months back if I'm thinking of the
same paper. There was a little discussion on whether Tom Cruise and John
Travolta would have been susceptible to scientology if its only drawing
power was a stimulation of the attention-action-reward system.
The paper is still on the web at

On another note, I just started working through a paper I requested from a
law professor on whether there is a genetic component underlying our
notions of property and possession. I'd have to ask him before
distributing it to anyone else (have to be careful before violating
copyright with those property law professors), but after I'm finished I'll
summarize it.
