Exactly. Both of them, Sheldrake and Velikovsky, are _not even wrong_,
but so distanced from observable facts as to be clearly delusional. It
is for this reason that the scientific establishment's 'refutation of
holistic biology' is a senseless hope adopted by the apologetic.
