    Most of my reading has been done, but I am waiting to receive a book by Imre Lakatos (of which the Virus list made me aware) that provides a counterpoint to the Kuhnian paradigm. That will enable me to more fully reference the case that paradigm shifts in science are not as arbitrary as Kuhn contends, but instead a result of a progressive involution-evolution multicycle.
