Kenneth Van Oost was probably writing his reply
to Grant Callaghan on this "Individualism" the same
time I was writing my message about individuals
likely to suffer or die as the result of war.
For all that Individualism is just another Reductionism,
and I don't like either -- (no "ism" seems very
scientific nor a good use of available social, scientific
or technological resources, to me) -- I still find it
encouraging that at least one or two individuals on
this list persist in thinking about people as individuals
and not as social or economic classes, or political
groups.
