    Kenneth Van Oost was probably writing his reply to Grant Callaghan on this "Individualism" the same time I was writing my message about individuals likely to suffer or die as the result of war.

    For all that Individualism is just another Reductionism, and I don't like either -- (no "ism" seems very scientific nor a good use of available social, scientific or technological resources, to me) -- I still find it encouraging that at least one or two individuals on this list persist in thinking about people as individuals and not as social or economic classes, or political groups.
