Shape us? Yes. Use us? No. We bend ourselves around the keyboard to type
our texts until we, ourselves, become bent in the process. We wiggle our
fingers and pull our tendons back and forth until we become crippled with
carpel tunnel syndrome. But it's not the will of the keyboard we end up
thus. They get no benefit from our pain. And they, of course, feel no
pain.
