What about the "Might Is Right" meme (and its inverse - the David and
Goliath meme)? It is one of the most pervasive memes in monotheist based
narrative. It has, IMHO, been replicated through the storyscape from
ancient times through to the latest news story.
It has caused "enthralling, intoxicating and mind-spelling manipulative
effect[s]".
