Yeah, I guess it's because few of us on the list (I assume) are
directly being affected by such changes, and thus a bit of insensitivity
emerges in comments, mine included. Impersonal, natural I dunno...
inevitable perhaps? (or maybe that's an even more dangerous view to hold?).
