Well, that one's false if it's true, if you know what I mean :-) I don't
think you can apply true/false to a reflexive levels unless you qaulify it
with a time or state stamp. E.g. true on this level, false on this one. It's
where linear logic hits system circuits, e.g. in a buzzer circuit, is the
switch on or off? (viz. Bateson's Mind and Nature)
Incidently, this is how a meme can control (and evade detection over) a
whole suite of sub-memes, by acting at a meta-level they can regulate other
information without themselves being observed. E.g. skepticism controls the
ingress of a host of sub-memes but do people ever think to be skeptical
about their skepticism? Sometimes ;-) Some memes use this meta positioning
very effectively. Thought-feelings about other thought-feelings for example,
can amplify, suppress, bleed, infuse, confuse or modify the original. Some
thought-feelings may even become specialized predators upon others (e.g.
cynicism)
