I'd like to be able to compare news reports on the recent events given by
Israeli versus Arab sources. I've been fairly recently introduced to a
newtwork available on my satellite TV service called Worldlink TV. They have
a program called Mosaic which highlights news reports from Arab sources in
Syria, Iran, Egypt and London among others. It's a fresh breath of air
(though obviously Arab biased) from what I typically see on CNN, MSNBC and
FOXNews. Worldlink has taken it upon themselves, it appears, to offer a
    different perspective.

Anyway, the images aren't sanitized and it seems there's more depth accorded
    to the Palestinian POV.

Now, relating to this thread, would it be better to candy-coat the news and
present to world with rose-colored lenses or to reflect conflicts as they
are. Would showing violent images of the clash adversely impact children or
perhaps clue them in on the harsh realities of the world and better prepare
them for the future where conflicts and violence are still going to be a
    fact of life?
