Memetics would have to at least be informed by these disciplines (add
cognitive psychology for good measure) and I wonder if workers in those
disciplines would give a rat's patooty less about memetics.
A merging of cultural anthopology and cognitive psychology sans reference to
the cultural replicator promoted here could do the trick.
