    Interesting piece. Over here we are laden down with formal tests that our
    government so loves, and is trying to expand. Yes education does involve
    facts and figures, especially science, but more inportant is the ability to
    think, analyse etc which is neglected in favour of knowing what you need to
    know to pass the exam.
