    To all members,

In my Monday 13/02/2000 paper I found the following article.
    Here is a sum up.

Marc Helsen,a journalist of De Gentenaar (the paper) is on his trip around the
world on his way to Kathmandu (Nepal).
On the nightbus to Kathmandu he has met Nanda Bandagar Singh,a brilliant
    mind according to Mr Helsen.
Mr Singh is on his way to Tokyo and was in Nepal to work on his PhD_Human
Genetics, department Biological Sciences.Mr Singh came to Nepal to take
bloodsamples from the local population to examen how genetical differences
between the separate tribes are responsible for (or not) acquired immunity
    against life-treatening diseases.
Mr Singh is trying to determine which genes are responsible for the illness of
one person and why another isn't sick at all.One of his findings so far is that he
clearly can notice differences in the sort of immunity between the tribes he
    examined.
Mr Helsen and Mr Singh talked all night about genes,MEMES,the rattle of
Müller, mutations, biogenetics, the human gnome-project and the possibilities
for the genetics in the 21 century.

Would it be of any interest to the members of this list if I lay a contact with
    Mr Singh!?
After all,it sounds to me that Mr Singh, high up in the Himalaya,is working on a
practical application for genes and memes.
    Maybe we can help eachother!?

    Regards,

    Kenneth
