Social Simulation:
Technologies, Advances and New Discoveries

Edited by Bruce Edmonds, Cesáreo Hernández Iglesias, and Klaus G. Troitzsch

Representing the best of the ESSA conferences:
Groningen (2003); Valodollid (2004); and
Koblenz (2005).

About the book

Following the successes of the first three European Social Simulation Association (ESSA) conferences at Gronigen (2003), Valodollid (2004) and Koblenz (2005) we are producing a single book representing updated versions of a selection of the best work that was presented at all three.  Thus we are inviting authors of the best papers at those conferences to submit a chapter describing their current thinking/results on the topic(s) that they presented.  The chapters will be related in theme to the original papers but substantially updated and, hopefully, more mature.  Together they will give a “snapshot” of the best of recent European Social Simulation research.

The book is scheduled to be published by Idea Group Inc., www.idea-group.com, publisher of the Idea Group Publishing, Information Science Publishing, IRM Press, CyberTech Publishing and Idea Group Reference imprints, some time in 2007.
