Videos from the webinar on ABM and Policy

Video recordings from this webinar, organised by the UK Government’s Digital Catapult are now available. Some interesting discussion about the potential for ABM to inform policy, as well as some questions and discussion on some of the difficulties.

The webinar on Agent-Based Modelling and Policy was organised by the UK government’s Digital Catapult. It was aimed at widening the understanding of the contributions that agent based models (ABMs) can have on supporting public policy. Experts from across the UK and international organisations provided insights and applications of these models in key policy areas.

It started with a keynote from Andy Haldane, Chief Economist at the Bank of England, followed by four separated sessions each with a different panel discussion comprising experts across the fields of academy and policy in the application and use of ABMs in policy.
