    And I can't find it now, but somewhere it was asserted that cells defy the entropy bit of thermodynamics (#3). Not true; the mistake is to only consider part of the systems. Cells and organisms are driven systems, and over a long enough time frame contribute to both the dissipation of heat and the concomitant
    _increase_ in entropy.

    This ordered intricacy is not alarming, because it is fleeting
    (and expensive).
