Yeah I'd go for that. So we have Holland and the Scandanavian countries
(does denmark fall in that? Iceland should I suppose). Lots of other European countries would claim to aspire to those ideals but I don't think they come out so well (maybe we could go for a 0 - 10 scale for proximity, and average the marks to get an overall one, but then maybe not eh...). Most of the more social democratic countries (France, Germany etc.) have really serious hidden race issues, and Britain is just up for sale so the holes in the net are rarely repaired (and we still have some lingering racial stuff, less than most though).
I'd give Britain somewhere between 6 and 7 overall.
