Tim apparently has left the list, I'm not sure why, although his posts indicated I had
something to do with it. Amazingly enough though, after offering a $5 bet that I
could not find clinical support for the contention that faith cripples minds, he
actually sent me a check for the money!

Recent discussion has turned to the relationship between genes and memes. Going back
to square 0, in general, is it fair to say that memes are phenotypic effects of genes,
and that genes are part of the fitness landscape for memes?
