And this should prove an interesting experiment to see which of those two
options the lazy e-consumer will gravitate to. (After all, Amway products
might easily be a good value-for-money if you didn't have to deal with an
Amway distributor to get them!)
I think you might be overestimating the general public's willingness to wear
the "salesman" hat when most are far more comfortable in the "passive
consumer" role. (This may be another case of our POV's effecting our
differing models of culture, also -- I expect this prediction is much more
applicable within your own social group than it is generally.)
We'll have to revisit this subject in a year and see where Quixtar's growth
is centered.
