And it might just be (now whose camp am I bedding down in?) that we are
much better off, for the time being, if not forever, with leaving it all
with a decision about memetics, and not about memes. No, not about memes,
not about memes, at all. Not about memes at all.
And we can start by saying that:
"Memetics is the study of how...
>information is transmitted from
>one brain to another via behaviour and/or artefacts."
- Yeah, we can clean up the spelling in the usanian edition....
I used to say, in a tongue-in-cheek mode, sprinkling zen and essence- 'To
a life without memes!'
And now I mean it.
