To start such a discussion, and we'll see how far such a discussion could
actually go depending on your definition... define 'spirit'.

If you mean-

>The vital principle or animating force within living beings.
>soul, vitality, psyche, anima, animus.

As an _influence_ on life, 'spirit' is irrelevant, immaterial, and
incompetent, since it is a fictional prospect at best.

As in influence on someone's life, it all depends on how much fiction one
carries around and works from- or phiction... I ain't sure.
