I'm going to go into some detail about why Aaron's model of homosexuality
violates the Hardy-Weinberg equation, so I really ought not to intervene in
too many other threads, but regarding the discussion about horizontal and
vertical transmission, I also ought to point out that Aaron's insistence
that there are some 'slow' horizontal cultural contagions violates the
models that have been built by Cavalli-Sforza and his school since the early
1980s. Horizontal transmission is by definition faster than vertical
transmission. There can be no slow horizontal contagions. This is not an
point of dogma, but can be demonstrated quite convincingly using a little
maths. However, first I have to sort out Aaron' violations of the
Hardy-Weinberg qautions, so that one will have to wait.
