Thanks for that long and interesting tract, Joe. I'm familiar with Godel, etc.
I've read your letter quite carefully three times.
What troubles me, is that the 'truth of zen' (for want of a better phrase)
can be grasped by an uneducated peasant or manual labourer. Indeed, in
the tradition, it was first transmitted when the Buddha held up a flower
and smiled. The old masters might have found your "System A, etc," a
bit bewildering perhaps. So, I wonder whether your sophisticated reasoning
takes us any closer to that truth ?
