Aaron Lynch asked me months ago to put up my old discarded formulas for
memetic analysis for perusal by interested parties. Although I haven't
touched them for almost two years and find them a little dated now, I had a
few free moments so I converted them to html in their original format and
they can now be found at: http://www.speakeasy.org/~proftim/memes/
As I said before, I'm beginning to think this kind of approach may lead down
a blind alley. But it was an interesting alley to explore for a time and
pointed me in another, hopefully more fruitful, direction. So I guess it
served its purpose as far as I was concerned.
What purpose it could serve for you, if any, I can't say. But Aaron had
asked, so now, far too long after the point, here it is. Enjoy. (But don't
laugh _too_ hard, you don't want to hurt yourself.)
