Subject: Dennett on Wednesday

sorry to be so cynical and dispassionate, but could we have a sort of show of hands as to who's going to be at the
Dennett lecture on Wednesday. To put it bluntly, I don't know what level the lecture will be pitched at, so my main
reason for going will be to discuss the state of play with our wonderful memetics community. Only, if the lecture
starts at 8.15, it probably won't finish till ten, and I'm not sure how much of a "symposium" we're going to have at
that time of night. A 400 mile round trip is a bit steep for a poor old postgrad like me!
