Not everyone is worried about the Y2K problems - for some it's ancient history:

<Tonight begins the Jewish New Year -- 5759 -- which celebrates the
creation of man. The culmination of the year -- 5999 (240 years
hence) -- the end of the sixth millennium, will signal our total
victory in the conquest of our ignorance of matter and thus the end
of our subjugation to the physical. This will also be the end of all
creative work. With Rosh Hashana 6000 will begin the seventh millennium
-- a thousand year Sabbath of messianically guided spiritual evolution --
leading to the conscious integration of all that exists to reveal the
infinite and eternal gift that the Creator has prepared for us. This
corresponds to the 8th millennium. The figure eight laid on its side,
you will recall, represents infinity.>
