Hugh Caton, Professor of Politics and History at Griffith University in
Brisbane takes a panoramic view of all things memetic in an article in
Politics and the Life Sciences, September 1997, pp.319-323, entitled
'Explaining Culture: a Naturalistic Approach', which is also the title
of Dan Sperber's book, a review of which is the starting point for
Caton's thoughts on the matter.
