Dear Levy,

Not only are these things possible, they are perfectly common. They do
not label themselves as being memetic organizations or meme wranglers
because they predate the word meme. The reality is much older than the
word. Politics, religion, ethics, and advertising would be some
examples of applied memetic engineering.
