To Aaron Lynch,
Well, at least I'm using the right words (see my earler post referencing
memes as catalysts, enzymes, etc.) and after reading this most recent
post of yours, I'm convinced that Korzybski, if he was still living,
would have bought all of your books and given them to his friends. Your
physicist's references ring so true and, coincidentally ring with some
of my other posts on a different list where we were not referencing
memes. Anyway, this most recent post was truly a "saver" and I'm filing
it in my permanent collection with others of yours. We do admire your
thought processes on these things and it made me feel especially good
when I had been positing similar concepts on an unrelated subject but
with similar analogies to particle physics and the philosophy of
science, especially as regards "identity."
With respect,
Bob
