Bill,
If memes are outside the body, publically available to all, where did
they first come from?
In the Christian tradition, there is the notion that 'in the beginning
there was the word.' Is this what you are alluding to?
If memes were sitting about in the environment waiting from a brain to
evolve which could replicate them, when did this begin to happen? Are
there memes sitting around in the environment right now, still waiting
for a brain capable of replicating them?
